My approach to photography is centered in the belief that the most beautiful images aren’t always the most perfectly posed ones, they’re the ones that bring you back. The way your dad looked at you before walking down the aisle. Your grandmother’s hands. The joy across your face as you are officially announced husband and wife. The quiet moments happening just outside of everyone else’s attention.

I’m drawn to imagery that feels refined without feeling overly polished: a blend of honest documentary storytelling and intentional editorial direction. I photograph both film and digital because I love the character, imperfection, and nostalgia that film brings to a wedding story, while digital allows me to preserve every fleeting moment in between.

Outside of photography, life is beautifully full. I’m married to my husband, Cameron, and we have two little girls who have completely changed the way I see time, memory, and the importance of documenting ordinary life. I’m also part of our family’s regenerative farm here in Northeast Ohio, so when I’m not photographing weddings, there’s a good chance you’ll find me outside with my girls, working around the farm, or dreaming up our next project.

Photography has become less about creating something that simply looks beautiful and more about preserving something that means something. I want you to have photographs that feel just as beautiful twenty or fifty years from now as they do today…images that tell the story of not only what your wedding looked like, but what it felt like to be there.
